如果話ipad係iphone既放大版，
點解唔話netbook係notebook既縮細版，係細到用唔到個種。我用過netbook，根本唔好用，太細，輸入困難，電池耐用性唔夠。試唸下有吔可能將一個本來比desktop用既OS放係咁細部電腦上比人用，13″已經係頂點。
要出tablet,個UI係第一樣嘢要改, Windows7 又好, Snow leopard 又好，啲button咁細，點操作？用筆定multitouch 好？
Multitasking 究竟需唔需要？睇片時你係咪要edit word file? 人往往就係咁，想所有嘢都要。仔細想一想你究竟要做啲吔嘢先。
對我嚟講，我期待着一部second computer 已很久，no need to besophiscated, 上下網，睇下書，唔使等1 minute turn on Windows 7 先用得。iPhone is already good, but iPad is better. And this is only the

上星期從Mac-Pro訂購一套叫做Mac Mini Airport and Bluetooth Upgrade Kit。在網上找了很久，這間算是最便宜，$100有找。但郵費貴，起初以為會以速遞寄過來，還是等了五天，用的只不過是USPS Global Priority Mail。看了看郵費，他們足足收取我接近兩培價錢，真是心有不值。拆開貨件更令我氣﹔在網上見到這套組裝的照片其中都是包括一個AirPort Extreme Card模組及一 個Bluetooth模組，嵌入一片夾層電子版(Mezzanine board)上。
而放在我前面的是一個只得一件模組的配件，而且夾層電子版看上去亦有不 同。可安慰的是它仍然有兩絛天線。我便立即email要求解釋，以下是Mac-Pro的回復﹕

幾日前解剖MacMini G4成功後，便於上星期四於OWC郵購了一部8X SuperDrive，運送是由Fedex負責。這類郵遞公司都很先進，可在網上查看預計送貨時間。查看後知道是星期六中午時段，但因當天有事外出，便至電到Fedex要求把貨物留在他們的服務站，等我來領取，的確很方便。到了那天便上了服務站一趟把它拿了回來。回家途中再經過黃金高登買了新Ram 1G，硬盤100G, 5400rpm。回家後還要把蓁蓁接回來才動工。起初很順利，之後發覺原來把MacOSX開機碟留在舊Combo drive裏，但已經把它拆了下來，不想走回頭。研究了一會看看有沒有emergency eject的洞洞，但找不到，便硬着頭皮把整個Combo drive拆閞。揭開項蓋已可把CD-ROM拿出，總算有驚無險。新的DVD Drive跟舊的相同，但裝上以後要把前面的膠版拿走。最後把Ram及Harddisk裝上便完成。

之前嗰Post講話試用MacOSX，畢竟有UNlX底，感覺唔錯。但喺個config咁渣，下一步就咁係upgrade部機啦﹔將512ram變做1G，嗰harddisk由跟廠嘅40G up到最少100G，DVD Combo drive 轉做8x Superdrive，另外再加wireless 及bluetooth。夠薑嘅話燒粒resistor，將個cpu frequency 加快到1.4Ghz都可以。加加埋埋賣單預計三千多銀兩。買一部原裝二手1.4Ghz都差唔多呢嗰價﹔但DVD只喺4x，嗰harddisk都唔夠大。而且部舊機未必賣得出。都喺自己改好過，其實只不過喺我enjoy做呢樣嘢﹔部xbox變咗mediacentre都喺自己改，另外部vaio加咗bluetooth，零件喺網上訂噃嚟。所以今次難唔到我。喺尋晚買咗把油灰刀（Putty Knife），五蛟雞，嘗試打開個蓋。三兩吓手勢就打開咗。而家等埋其他物料就可開工。
嗰server搬咗去DreamHost到做hosting之後，部Mac mini好似變咗廢鐵咁。其實可以keep噃佢做Linux server或者做吓desktop都幾好呀。只不過屋企已有部sony vaio裝咗Gentoo，已經好多嘢玩﹔唸唸吓，不如將佢變噃Mac。可惜佢冇Wireless，冇bluetooth，唔係用SuperDrive，HD得嗰40G。想用佢做desktop代替Windows好似唔夠級數。不過對於我呢嗰Mac機文盲，都可以暫時玩吓嘅。
