Obviously Microsoft considers Apple’s Iphone as a threat to their Windows Mobile platform and under the pressure of competition, they admit that there is something wrong with their interface. This is rather a good news for the consumers

考慮了幾天,仍然抵擋不住誘惑最終也敗了這台東西。不知甚麼原因英文版本貨源不多要走到旺角才只有一部。打了幾個電話總算在新世紀百老匯買了。回家後立即叉電,起碼叉一晚。附送軟件包括 ce-star,雖然自己已有一套但也無防。機身比838pro薄了少許但握在手掌中感覺不同，畢竟是六千大元的玩意！
I-mate 將推出的Ultimate系列很有賣點，而HTC的機種開始覺得沒有新頴，看一看Kaiser便知道〔雖然它肯定是一部項級機〕。下半年度相信又是敗家時侯了。
HTC 推出Official WM6 ROM後不久，在xda-developers forum裏出現各種不同基建於新ROM的Cooked ROM。隨個人喜好，加入新元素或移除沒有用的程式。其中發現一個值得一試，便下載下來二話不說把它刷上。這ROM吸引之處在於它支援繁簡中日顯視，本身操作介面是英語，不用裝上外掛中文程式。因基建於新ROM上所以非常穩定。系統字型改用了雅黑中文字型，非常美觀，英文字母明顯也大了。如果想輸入中文那就要安裝額外輸入法。自己煮ROM的確很有趣，有時間真的要鑽研一番。

HTC just announced that it has signed an acquisition agreement with Dopod International. In the future, all of HTC’s new products will be marketed under the HTC brand. IMHO, it is a good news. We could expect the new products to be released much faster on the Asia market.
It is official, Dopod will release Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for 838Pro, D810, P800W and U1000. 昨天取回維修完的Dopod 838 pro,如果之前沒有打電話到維修中心催促他們快點完成,復活節假前也未必能夠取回。在維修中心內看到不少D810,最感驚訝的是看見的用家已是一把年紀,不曉得這麼先進科技會帶給他們那裡的方便,又或者他們只是代家人來取機。
My Dopod 838 Pro is dead, or “bricked” as what they qualified at xda-developers. At first I was testing the “cooked” ROM WM6, and I was really impressed by the speed improvement bought into this version.
部機用咗近一個月,喺時候出多個review。今次彈多過讚,因初頭第一次接觸部機實在喺有啲驚喜,所以嗰review嘟唔喺太中肯。用耐咗發覺毛病多咗。主要唔太滿意嘅地方喺hang機情況算幾頻密,覺得以前部818pro重穩定過佢。但用嘅software一樣,可能今次啲花神嘢多,出錯位自然多咗。好似嗰ok制咁,有時完全冇反應要reset先至得噃。呢D基本嘢雖然影響唔大但係嘟幾激氣。 最頭痛既地方喺如果用佢嗰跟機腰包打橫放夾住個褲帶喥﹔有時電話入攞起時佢會自動接call。經常都喺咁。用bluetooth耳機當然冇呢個問題,但喺有時唔想帶多樣嘢喺身。跟住就喺覺得嗰keyboard太鬆,握住佢覺得郁郁吓。有時開機後,佢已經變咗Landscape mode但喺嗰keyboard喺冇拉出嚟,跟住佢會自動轉噃做Portrait 。唉,轉來轉去何必呢!重有一樣唔方便就喺部機冇audio jack,睇來呢個喺HTC未來行嘅路線,因為Artemis(P3300)同Trinity(P3600)嘟好似喺咁。如果真係唔方便,可以揾D adaptor幫幫手。
