My website was not being able to be loaded yesterday following an upgrade of the new wordpress 2.0.5. According to the Dreamhost support team, my MySQL server has been experiencing high loads created by poor written queries that other users are running. And this caused all services to lag. Flickr Flash Badge

在人家的博客網頁中,經常會看到用flickr組合成的相簿,其中很喜歡flickr的flash badge。在這由九格小小的thumbnails組成的框架裏,新的相片會輪流顯視出來,然後縮小排放在其中一個方格中。這樣一來不用更新也可看到所有相片,而且增加不少網頁的生動性。可惜gallery2+wpg2 的整合還沒有這功能。因此在flickr開了新户口試用,上載了一些照片。網站的功能確實很完善,怪不得這麽成功。而我的Blog左改動後効果也不錯。

Wordpress theme MW with WPG2

The theme MW is very easy to setup with WPG2. Firstly install the theme using the wordpress admin panel, then create the two files, wpg2header.php and wpg2footer.php. Finally adjust the CSS attributes according to your personal taste.

Gallery2 and WPG2 upgraded

The package gallery 2.1.2 was finally marked as stable in the Portage, I ‘d spent a good afternoon upgrading my server. The process was smooth and pictures now show up faster than before. WPG2 had been upgraded to version 2.0 as well, Photos can now be displayed in a quad grid, a very nice feature [...]
